Registration

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open!

The Benzie Youth String Program is  a unique opportunity for incoming 2nd-5th graders, as well as incoming 6th graders who were part of the program in the 2025-2026 school year. The program is open to students in Benzie County public schools and those that are homeschooled. Violins and violin instruction are free, but we do ask a registration fee of $75, along with a desire to learn a string instrument which could be a joy for life.

Even if currently enrolled, please fill out the online registration form if you intend to participate in the 2026-2027 school year.

Beginning this Fall, both the viola and the cello will be offered on a limited basis to incoming 5th and 6th graders. Please note the preference on the registration form. If you are a current student going into either the 5th or 6th grade, and wish to switch to the viola or cello, please let your instructor know as soon as possible. 

Once registration is full, students may be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted as spaces become available.
